Mars conjunct Pluto in Capricorn | Digging Deep

On October 19, Mars the planet of action and drive joins transformative Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of structures and boundaries. The last time this aspect occurred was November 10, 2014.

This is a different time than it was then and world events have taken on a heightened and nonsensical tone (thanks in part to the Saturn-Neptune square). It can be worthwhile to look back so see how you’ve dealt with challenges when times call for going within, digging deep and finding a new source of strength.

Back on September 23 when Mars met with Saturn in Sagittarius we may have found a sense of renewed drive, faith and ambition. Now, this ambition may be tested in a way that calls for us to pause and find the persistence and endurance it takes to go where angels fear to tread.

When Pluto’s involved there are often forces greater than us that call for us to make deep and long over due change. Surrendering offers redemption, regeneration and rebirth.

I personally will never forget November 2014 because my mother passed away when Mars was on my natal Sun applying to conjunct Pluto on my Ascendant and transiting Saturn was on my Venus – all exact. That was a powerful test of faith and has so far been the defining moment of my life.

Our world is changing and we can no longer be complacent. Where do you stand with your belief in the human spirit and your role in the global shift?

While this aspect can be powerful, the astrology affects us all differently depending upon our personal astrological destiny. And no matter what our destiny, our response is up to us individually and our own consciousness and choices.  For insight on your personal destiny, book an astrology reading.

This is a time to dig deep to find the gold that lies within. Your internal treasure is awaiting your discovery.
